Gitali is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Environmental Geosciences with a minor in Political Science at Purdue University. She is interested in AI governance, technology policy, and the intersection of scientific systems and regulatory frameworks. At GRAIL, she works on the AGORA project, contributing to qualitative coding and structured analysis of AI-related legislation across U.S. jurisdictions. She also has prior experience conducting interdisciplinary research involving geospatial analysis, environmental health modeling, and policy-oriented investigation of post-conflict toxic exposure, alongside broader research on emerging technology governance.
