Hardik Amin is a Graduate Research Affiliate with the Governance & Responsible AI Lab (GRAIL), currently completing his M.S. in Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Purdue University. At GRAIL, he contributes to the FAIRWORK (Forecasting AI Risks and Impacts on the Workforce) project, where his research examines how AI is reshaping labor markets, future job structures, skill shifts and workforce policy.

Hardik Amin is a Graduate Research Affiliate with the Governance & Responsible AI Lab (GRAIL), currently completing his M.S. in Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Purdue University. At GRAIL, he contributes to the FAIRWORK (Forecasting AI Risks and Impacts on the Workforce) project, where his research examines how AI is reshaping labor markets, future job structures, skill shifts and workforce policy. His broader research at Purdue focuses on how advanced AI systems can be evaluated and governed through responsible AI innovation, human-AI enablement, national and global technology policy. Some of his recent work includes sustainable AI infrastructure and governance, risk assessment and organizational policy for LLMs in healthcare organizations. He is also interested in extending AI safety research to emerging domains of recursive self-improvement (RSI) and embodied AI. Prior to Purdue, Hardik spent more than a decade leading product innovation and digital transformation for large global organizations, experience that continues to inform his interdisciplinary research on societal and economic impacts of AI.
